What should I do before Get it Clean Services arrives?

The cleaning service from Get it Clean is here to help. To allow us to be most efficient, it is helpful if you pick up toys, laundry, household items, and clutter before the team arrives. This allows us to move through your home more quickly, which can lessen the cost. If you want us to change your bed, Please leave fresh linens out so we can change the bedding. And put away any important documents and valuables. No worries though, we’re ready to tackle messes, and will neatly pile and arrange any items left on floors or furniture.
What should I do before Get it Clean Services arrives?

Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?

Although it is preferred, you are not required to be home for your cleaning. Because we work on an 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday, most of our customers aren’t home when we arrive. In a majority of these cases, our insured cleaning professionals are provided with a spare key or door/garage code.
Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?

What time does your house cleaning team arrive?

While we cannot warranty our exact time of arrival because we give every home the attention it deserves and requires, and also because of possible traffic, and/or other delays that is out of our control. We do offer arrival windows for your convenience. Get it Clean Services uses a unique “On-time arrival Software”. A software to log your preferences so our services are as minimally disruptive as possible.

What do you mean by “window of arrival”?

When you schedule house cleaning services with Get it Clean Services, we’ll give you an arrival time. Because we give homes the individualized attention they deserve, we may not be able to arrive at that exact time that we gave you, but we do our best to ensure that our cleaning crew will arrive at that time or a max of one hour later. If we think they will be arriving later than one hour for some reason, we will contact you to make sure if that is ok.

What if something’s damaged during a service?

At Get it Clean Services, we treat every single home we clean with the utmost respect. If something happens to break during our routine service, we’ll do our best to repair or replace the item. We are fully insured, so claims can be filed when appropriate.

We only recommend that if you have any expensive, irreparable, or collection items, to store them in a safe place or let us know prior to the cleaning so our cleaners can be extra careful around those items
What if something’s damaged during a service?

Am I liable for employment taxes, workers' compensation, or insurance?

Get it Clean Services is proud to be a worry-free cleaning service solution. This means that we take care of any personal liability with regard to social security taxes and work-related injuries. We’re fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.

What do you not clean?

Our professional housecleaning services are designed to keep your home comfortable and clean. We customize services to accommodate your preferences so you never have to worry about paying for a service you don’t need or want.

To ensure we provide your home with the highest quality of care, we don’t typically:

Clean toys
Clean the inside of your fireplace
Pick up clutter
Do laundry
Wash dishes*

We want to make sure that all of your belongings are in the right place when we leave, which is why we leave these organizational tasks to you. However, we’re happy to clean the inside of your cabinets, stove, and refrigerator upon request.

* = We may do it on a case by case, but this is not included by default in our services.

Are there any services you don't offer?

While we offer a wide range of home cleaning services, we will not resurface/wax/refinish floors, put away dishes (we offer this service as an add-on), wet wipe light bulbs, move large furniture, or dispose of an excessive amount of trash. We can also not clean exterior windows, mold, biohazards, pet waste, and insect or rodent problems.

What services do Get it Clean offers?

Do I need to provide your team with my own cleaning equipment or supplies?

No. We arrive with all the cleaning materials we need and take them with us when we leave. We’re proud to use the best products and vacuums on the market to ensure that we leave your home looking spotless.

If you have any preferences in regard to what cleaning products we use, feel free to let us know, and we’ll do everything we can to work with your requests.

(We do not provide Paper Towels and Trash Bags)

Do I need to provide your team with my own cleaning equipment or supplies?

Do you offer window blinds cleaning service?

No, we do not offer this service as a separate service.

We may clean some blinds while performing a residential or commercial cleaning service.

Our cleaners will quickly dust our client's window blinds on every residential cleaning service we provide. 

Only on Deep Clean and Move-in/out Clean will our cleaners wet wipe them.


Observation:

We won't clean fragile or really dirty blinds like the one shown on the link below.

Do you offer window blinds cleaning service?

Do you offer carpet cleaning services?

We do provide carpet cleaning to our Residential Clients as an add-on to their services (fantastic price). We use a dry extraction cleaning method (very low-moisture) that gives your carpet a thorough deep cleaning.

Dry carpet cleaning offers deep cleansing power by supplementing with compound cleaning agents to pre-treat fibers and break down dirt prior to the actual machine cleaning. The cleaning agents are brushed or buffed into the carpet, and then are removed during cleaning, along with all of the dirt, oils, and other sediments that loosen when the cleansers are embedded between the fibers. The cleansers can also add protection to carpet fibers to prevent future stains.

An additional booking must be made. In most cases, this is because the lack of cleanliness requires more time.

Do’s:

  • Kitchen (clean sink out, counter tops, cabinet faces upper and lower, stove top)
  • All exterior surfaces in all rooms
  • Floors are mopped and vacuumed
  • Bathroom (complete toilet clean, shower, handles, tub, drain)
  • Bedroom  shelving, nightstands, bed frames, tidy up bed)
  • All window sills

 

Don’ts:

  • All Extras are not included (must be selected for an additional cost)
  • The extra time included in deep cleans allows for more detailed work in the above-mentioned Do’s.

You can expect an all-inclusive service when booking a Move-Out or Move-In clean. This is our most detailed package and includes essential extra services (inside windows, Inside Oven, Inside Fridge, Inside Kitchen Cabinets, and more), which you can add to any level of service.  This cleaning is intended to turn the home someone once lived in into its original state and ready for new homeowners.

How can I schedule a cleaning?

We offer two ways for our clients to book their cleaning services.

1- You can call or text us at (781) 357-6612, and we will schedule a visit to look at the property. This way, we can give you a quote for the service. Upon approval, we will schedule the cleaning date. (this method is better if you are planning on hiring us for recurring services)


2- You can visit our booking page by clicking HERE and follow the instructions. It is simple and easy, and you just need to pick the service, and the time, fill in the personal information, and send. 

We will contact you to confirm the availability for the selected day and time. And if it's unavailable, we will work with you to find another day that works for everyone!

Cancelations within less than 48 hours are subjected to a fee of 30% of the contracted service.

Do you guarantee the days and time shown as available on the booking page?

No, we can not guarantee the days or times shown on our online booking page.

This is because we receive booking requests from different sources, and it is impossible for us (at the moment) to update everything in real-time.

Is there a fee if I cancel my booking?

As long the cancelation is made before 48 hours, there is no fee.

We charge a fee of 30% of the contracted service if the cancelation is made within 48 hours.

We try not to charge this fee as we understand that people can get sick or emergencies can happen. But if it becomes too often, we have no choice but to charge it. 


The fee is applied because we reserve that timeslot exclusively for the client, and we ensure our employees are compensated even if they do not perform the cleaning service. If there's a cancellation and insufficient time for us to fill that timeslot with another client, it results in an unfair situation for us.

Is there a fee if I cancel my booking?

What is the difference between booking by the hour and deep clean service?

Hourly Service

We recommend booking a service by the hour if you want to control the budget or if your house is relatively clean or not a big house.

This is because we will only send a team of two cleaners at a time.

Keep in mind that we may not be able to stair longer at the house if the time contracted is not enough to finish it, as we have a tight schedule.

(Since we can not guarantee that the contracted time is enough to clean the house, our 24-hour warranty does not cover the hourly service) 


Deep Cleaning / Flat Rate

For the first time cleaning of houses not bigger than 2000 sq ft, we recommend our clients to choose the flat rate service.

It seems a bit more expensive, but it may not be due to its perks.

For example, for deep cleaning service, depending on the number of rooms and other extras the client selects, we will be sending more than two cleaners.

Also, for the deep cleaning service, we will send out commercial-grade floor scrubbers and other tools not included in the hourly services with the cleaners.

Our 24-Warranty backs up flat-rate services. This means if something were not cleaned, we would come back to clean it as long we get contacted within 24 hours.


We reserve the right to cancel any flat services booked online if we see that the information provided does not match the cleaning scenario.


Examples are:

Booking a Deep Cleaning Service and the house is a Move-in/out Service (Empty House)

Hoarding situations

Extremely dirty house

Feces or bodily fluids on floors, walls, etc.


Prices may be adjusted if:

Excess nicotine is needed to be removed from walls, windows, ceilings, etc.

Excess grease needed to be removed from cabinets, furniture, etc.


Prior to any changes or cancelations, the client will be contacted.



What is the difference between booking by the hour and deep clean service?

Do you offer hourly service?

Yes, we do! In some instances, it may make sense to do an hourly service. This is generally reserved for very large homes or homes where we are only doing a couple of rooms or homes with a lot of clutter or dirt. Please note there is no guarantee on our hourly service, and we cannot come back and re-clean if you do an hourly service.

*The online booking for house cleaning service is based on an hourly rate.
* The online booking for Deep Cleaning Services is a flat rate.
*Some equipment (e.g., floor and baseboard scrubbers) are only included in our deep cleaning service and above.

How do I pay?

Payments are due on the day of your scheduled service. Most of our valued customers leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter, but we also accept credit card payments through Paypal, Zelle transfer, and Venmo payments. If you choose to write us a check, please make it payable to Get it Clean Services.

The instructions on making the payment online will be sent along with the invoice.


A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks.

How do I pay?

Do I get a discount if I pay in cash?

We don't offer "cash price" as our prices are already lower than most cleaning companies in the area.

One thing that we do offer is the quality of our service!
